Peregrine believes in more than just clean energy
Our community outreach programs create meaningful connections.
Peregrine was awarded the prestigious US Department of Labor HIRE Vets Platinum award for 2023 and 2024
The Peregrine Veteran Mentorship and Leadership Training Program, now in its second year, is a significant company investment that has already shown substantial value. Our commitment to veterans is not just a value-add business proposition, but a tangible commitment to recruiting and training veterans from all service branches and backgrounds.
Peregrine is 1 of 7 small businesses in Colorado to receive the award in 2023, and 1 of 150 in the nation.
Over 20% of Peregrine’s employees are US Military Veterans.
Support for Operation TBI Freedom
Operation TBI Freedom (OTF) is a program of Craig Hospital that provides support for Veterans and active-duty military personnel with traumatic brain injuries (TBI). OTF supports many service members from military installations and communities throughout Colorado, including Fort Carson, Peterson AFB, US Air Force Academy, Buckley AFB, and the Colorado National Guard.
Peregrine provides support for TBI Educational Workshops, the TBI Peer Support Group, and Operation Phoenix Recovery. These programs provide education for veterans/service members and their families, small peer group support for veterans/service members, and support for veterans who suffer from cognitive issues related to TBI/PTSD.
Star the Peregrine Falcon
In the Spring of 2023, Peregrine Energy Solutions adopted a real Peregrine Falcon named Star. Star enjoys promoting science literacy at local libraries and community events, and being admired by guests as she welcomes them to engage in conservation at the World Center for Birds of Prey. She continues to inspire our team with her need for speed, sharp eye for detail, and go-getter attitude.
We could not be happier with the collaboration and are proud to support Star and her team of scientists at The Peregrine Fund.
League City Engagement: College of the Mainland
The Peregrine Energy Solutions Scholarship was awarded to 28 students supporting women in engineering, veterans in engineering, first-generation college students, parents, and local League City, TX residents. Peregrine donated a total of $25,000 in scholarships.
Peregrine was also a dean-level sponsor for the COM 4th Annual Educate a Woman Luncheon in March 2024. The Educate a Woman Scholarship empowers women to reach their educational goals.
CU Boulder Masters of the ENvironment Program
The Masters of the Environment (MENV) Graduate Program is a professional master’s degree that builds students into leaders in a wide range of careers in conservation, consulting, energy, natural resources, planning, policy, sustainability, and more.
Peregrine collaborates with their capstone program to hire interns.
Denver Scholarship Foundation
Denver Scholarship Foundation (DSF) is a nonprofit helping to make college possible and building the educational and economic future of Denver by collaborating with Denver Public Schools (DPS) high school students, families, and partners statewide to increase access and completion of post-high school learning, while also expanding generational exposure to career and entrepreneurial opportunities.
The DSF nationally recognized, evidence-based three-part program consists of support systems, actionable tools, and scholarships to help guide Denver students to lifelong success.
Boulder Climbing Community
The BCC was created 15 years ago to address safety and sustainability issues at Colorado climbing areas. We service Canon City to Rocky Mountain Park, including all of Boulder County. We replace unsafe climbing hardware, build sustainable access trails, monitor endangered wildlife, and engage in outreach and advocacy with national, regional, and local land managers. We also operate 16 human waste mitigation stations across the Front Range: we distribute human waste wag bags so that human waste can be properly disposed of at highly used and fragile ecosystems.
